My brother and I have a bet. He says that a player who has been designated the teams franchise player cannot be traded after they sign the tender. I think they can be traded as long as they agree, are healthy, and its before week 6 of the NFL season. Who is right? If you have a source please list it.

I think that you are right, and that your brother is wrong. I always see players getting traded, and I think that franchise players can be traded. But I’m not positive.
